Atlanta to Macon
Macon, Georgia is a great day trip from Atlanta thanks to its architecture and small town charm. The town is an easy hour and a half mile drive from Atlanta on Interstate 75. Take a trip there to see the charming homes, have lunch at Metropolis Curry and Kabob Restaurant, and learn about the history of the region.

Salt Lake City to Park City

Travel on the Pacific Surfliner Amtrak train from San Diego to San Juan Capistrano on a scenic hour long rail trip. Walk to Mission San Juan Capistrano (founded in 1776), located just a few blocks from the train station, and take a tour of this “Jewel of the Missions”. There are nearby restaurants, shops, and historical sights to further round out your visit.
